Anyone know what was the standard factory colour of the inlet and exhaust Manifold on a 250ci pre-crossflow motor was?

Was the colour different between the two?

The colour is dirty greasesed up iron. lol. Thats what it is on mine. A Brownie colour.

The inlet manifold is lightblue on my xy. Dont know about the exhaust as i got extractors put on a LONG time ago. The head is lightblue as well.. not 2v unfortunately. All the 2v inlet manifolds (more curved, and extend further from the head) ive seen have been silver. Hope that helps

ive only ever seen silver or blue. oh except on a nice as hell XK falcon i saw at a show once.

it had a pre crossflow 250 in it and the whole motor was the body colour of the car. except for the bolts and such which were chromed. looked awesome
