Hey all my mates crapadoore, has developed a problem. I was in his car yesterday and when he was driving at 80 his car sometimes started to vibrate. Its wasnt a lot of vibration you could hear and feel it. He gave it some gas, revs stay where they were on the revmeter then jumps 500 rpm and the vibration stops. He didnt know hat it was but he thought it would of either be the diff or transmission. It kind of feels like when having a manual car in too high gear, the engine cant get the revs up and it starts vibrating. Not as severe but fairly similar, any suggestions why it does this?
Could be tailshaft centre bearing, common problem with Commies. Tin of petrol and a box of matches will fix prob....
