It worked this time.
Someone advised me to keep keys #1 and #2 to ON long enough for the
theft light to turn off. That did the trick.
Too bad the owner's manual doesn't give such clear instructions. It says to keep each to ON for atleast one second, but one second doesn't seem to be long enough.
