i have a 302 in my 68 ford galaxie. it currently has a carburetor and i was wondering if it would be possible and worth it to change it to fuel injection, if port or direct fuel injection would be better, and what all is involved in the switch.

Easy job if you understand injection and can weld and wire , as to worth it ?
financially maybe not but it should reduce fuel consumption and makes blowing the motor a little easier.
Easy to do, some gains in economy, definatley runs nice, hot or cold.
Have seen some done over here using the CP unit from an EA-EB 6cylinder.
