I'm wondering if anyone knows if when a gas tank is overfilled on a contour will it leak out underneath or on the side. I recently had my car filled and the gas station attendant proceeded to fill the tank once it clicked off. We then noticed that I had a huge puddle under my car. In your opinion does it sound like he has overfilled it as that it what I thought but he get telling me I have a leak however it has not leaked since. Would this cause any damage?

You probably have a leak at the filler tube. Not an easy job, so just don't fill 'er up anymore.
