I'm told the front speakers in the EF Falcon are 6", and split systems only seem to come in 6.5" variety, and it seems a hell of a lot of people have splits in their car.
firstly, are these mounted in the stock front speaker location?
and .. are the 6.5" speakers easy to fit into the front 6" locations?

Basically, they will fit. They might need a bit of assistance though.
Unless im mistaken, series one and two doors are identical. So what you need to do, is get a nibbler, dye grinder, or someone who has one to make the hole a tad bigger. The reason i went with my bostons (apart from the sound) is the fact that the speakers basket is made to help you get em in.. (Its as this as!)

Dont try and file it away either.... TRUST ME!

Or you could do the simpler, and cheaper method and don't worry about making the hole bigger, cause its already 6 1/2"!!!

At least mine was, and my mates EL, and my brothers ED.

The rears are 6"......

there are 6" splits around, but they're generally not as easy to find, and arnt as good as the 6.5" ones that are widely available.

my old ED took 6.5" sony splits with no mod to hole, one would presume the front speaker size would be the same from ED - EF.
