Hi,

Just wondering if it is worth going aftermarket extractors + sports system on my AUII XR8.

Everyone is quite wishy washy at the storefronts so dyno charts before and after would be appreciated. An idea of how much the system cost fitted on the car would be great too.

I just want to see if this is good value for money and what the real performance increase is likely to be.

I have a Herrod's full stainless system on my AU II XR8,dont read to much into Dyno reading's especially off other car's because there all not the same, Dyno's can be soul destroying,But I have noithing but praise for Herrod's system it sounds fantastic and gave me 20kws odd and better ecomomy,mid to top end power is much better also,the cost was about $1900 but well worth it.

cheapest quickest way to get more power and economy it to scrap the factory system and fit a decent exhaust.For my money I would go mild steel as stainless isn't worth it but each to there own

Is the largest benefit gained by fitting the sports exhaust or extractors on the AU V8's.

I have heard about the Herrods exhaust and it's not the one for me. I tow a boat and I want a system tuned for low end and midrange not mid and top.

Any suggestions for a system like this..
