Realigning Wagon Tailgate.
6 weeks ago I bought an AU Series 3 wagon. I have noticed the tailgate is out of alignment. I can put my index finger between the 'gate and tailight.
But the gap is even along the roof line. Went back to Ford and was told " should have been fixed at the 1500km service." The wagon was ex-Ford Factory vehicle. This fault should have been picked up at final inspection, before leaving the factory. To get the 'gate realigned will cost me $66. !!
But, if the gap on the roofline ie even, how can the gap on the side be out ?
I am writing too Ford too complain and hopefully they will authorize a warranty repair.
