Hey Guys you'll never guess what happened to me when i was washing my car on the weekend. I washed it for the first time and then went inside for a drink, came back out and there were two massive hole at either side of the rear window. Sso i oppen the door to see if there was anything throwen through it, there wasn't. I still can't work out how it happened but bloodly hell.

nah serioulsy, never heard of this happening ... though sometimes when car is jacked up a ridiculous angle, it can fracture the screens....

Maybe somebody came and did it? It's safety glass, if it cracked from rapidly changing temperature or being jacked up at a rediculous angle then it wouldn't have made holes because of the plastic sheet inside the glass. Something had to have went through the window to make holes, perhaps someone wanted to steal your speakers or something?

You don't have a digital camera do you? Pics would be very interesting.

What kind of holes? ie, were the edges clean cut? or were they corrugated?

I know it's safety glass and this wouldn't be the cause, but did you use boiling/hot water on your windows on a cold day?
