I am looking at getting a diff ratio change on my EF, can anyone recommend any workshops that they have had good experiences with in the past?

I am either going to buy a diff centre from a wrecker (3.45, LSD) and get them to swap the diff centres or just get new gears put into my current diff centre.

Preferably north of the river but I will go anywhere as long as I know they will do a good job for the right price.

Last time i had my car serviced was at Negus auto tech, in balcatta, they did a good job, they do all that kind of crap, and they're open on saturday, but youll have to ring first to make an appointment...

Tranny & Diff Specialist in Belmont across the road from Rick Heart..
They have a deal going at the moment re: Diff ratio changes.
They did mine & Ive had no dramas with it.
After 500 k's break in they do an oill change & check over for free!!!!

Well so far quotes have been around the $1200-1300 mark, which I thought was pretty bloody pricey.

I thought i would be able to get it done for a fair bit less than that. The other option I am thinking of is just buying a XR6 diff from a wrecker and putting that in. Most likely getting a rebuild done on it and hopefully that would work out a fair bit cheaper.
