Question Red?

Does anyone kow the name of the red that is on the Tickford rocker cover and the XR6 logo?
Its for my brake calipers and maybe a few other bits and pieces so I want to keep it all the same.

Cheers

Re: Red?

Popular consensus is that its venom red mate but a few people have said that it is actually slightly different.

Re: Red?

Im sure venom red will do if its only for the brakes. You wouldnt be able to tell the difference. Maybe if you were painting engine bits, it might be a different story...

This special engine which still only required low octane 91 RON ULP featured a maroon engine camshaft cover with embossed Tickford wings.
Taken from FPV's Website.
But still it doesn't really look maroon, does it?

Re: Red?

I think that Ford Engine Red is the colour that they used in the XA,XB,XC Tappet covers. I've seen a fair few Clevelands with red ones. The colour looks orangish I reckon.
I don't think it is the Tickford colour anyway.

Re: Red?

I have a Venom XR6 and I don't think the colour on the rocker cover is Venom...its a darker colour as some others have suggested...
