Question Relay ID

Hello all! I posted this last nite in the E series truck section and thought it may do better here:
My church has a 1985 Ford van with a carbureted 351. The battery has been going dead while it sits. When I touch the battery terminal to the post theres a relay on the drivers side that clicks even with the key and everything else off. Its mounted on the inside of the drivers fender on the same bracket that the cruise control is mounted on. I couldn't find any #s on it. It has 5 wires going to it. Anybody know what this relay does and why it would have power on it all the time? If not is there anywhere on the web I can find free wiring diagrams for a Ford van? Thanks for any help you can give! John
