I went to have a crack at fixing my water pump today and I couldn't get the bloody belt off!
I've only had the car a week so I haven't had a chance to get a manual for it yet. There's a socket thingy on the tensioner pulley system which a ratchet fits straight into. It's rock solid though and I've forced it about as hard as I'd like to without something breaking. There's a tag looking thing it the top of the tensioner assembly. Does that need to be pushed in or pulled out or something ?? I had a fiddle with everything I could find but to no avail.
