Removing Code 67

I have an ED XR6 manual.
I want to run a SAM test and pull the codes.
The Engine running test will not work until I remove the '67' Code.
The code stats that the car must be in neutral and the AC off.
It is a manual and the AC compressor is on the garage floor.
Even the AC switches are off.

How can I bypass the 67 so I can run a test.

thanks Chrispy

Has the a/c compressor still got the wiring connected to it, if it was testing for feedback on the wires to the a/c compressor it would get nothing, hence you may get the code.

Just a wild guess :0)

thats not an ed fault code table. code 67 refers to an a/c input missing. it means the ecu thinks it has a/c but cant find it. it gets a reference from the a/c relay just to tell the ecu that it's on and powered up. from memory it's a dark blue wire(dont quote me on that) but i do know it's pin 54 on the ecu. to eliminate this once jump a fused piece of wire from a 12v power supply to the wire. if u dont plan on repairing your a/c in the near future connect the wire to a 12v supply which regularly switches ie: brake lights

has it got climate control or just normal a/c?

the ecu doesnt do a self test to ensure the compressor in connected.
