Hey all .... need some advise or some clever ideas.

Need to remove a motor from an EA falcon, all unbloted ready to be pulled out ....

Now, does anyone have any smart ideas how to remove the motor without an engine crane?

Thinking of chucking some ropes above the shed beams, but I don't know how strong they would be .. (the beams that is!)

Anyone got any other ideas? maybe with jacks or something?

Any help would be great :)

You are in for a problem with out a hoist, even 10 mates wont lift it out I rekon, it need to go up high enough to clear the front radiator support so good luck lifting it that high, it only costs $45 (24 hours) and $100 deposit for an engine hoist from most higher places.

Definately worth hiring a Crane, better than having the shed fall in on you.
