I am currently removing the tint off my rear window. Got most of it off, although some parts are hard to get to. Is there a solvent or something that will assist? i used eucalyptus oil for the sticky stuff, but I need something for the tint itself. If not, Ill probably have to remove the rear deck which will be a hassle due to speakers and stuff.
Nah. Ive actually done around the heater and it still works fine. I was VERY careful with the sharp scraper not to actually scrape across the the wire. Im down to the bottom now, and its hard not only cause of the location, but the glass is very concave.
The easiest way to remove tint is to spray the windows with hot soapy water and stick a black garbage bag to them. Park the car in the sun for a few hours and slowly pull the bag back and the tint will come with it.
