roll Resetting Speedo - EF Fally

Hey guys, While hunting around Ebay this arvo, i noticed a guy had said that it is easy to reset or change the speedo reading if you know how. I was wondering if this was true, and if anyone here knew how.

Cheers, Waity.

Re: Resetting Speedo - EF Fally

Ive never heard of it being able to be reset but if you wanted to lower your odo reading, probably the easiest way would be to put a new cluster in there.

Re: Resetting Speedo - EF Fally

the distance travelled is stored on the cluster itself in a little eprom and ford will not change the settings of that eprom for you :)

Re: Resetting Speedo - EF Fally

Ive heard about ppl buying new clusters with lower odo readings, but once wired up it reverts back to the original reading... Is this true? It was an EB style fairlane i think..
