Ok after going for a spin in my mates Skyline GTS, he showed me the factory optioned electric retractable side mirrors, with a press of a button inside the car or with the remote door lock button, both side mirrors fold into the car!

It got me thinking if such a system could be done to my el side mirrors? It would stop people knocking them in car parks and make entering my narrow garage a breeze

Just an idea (or maybe its just envy lol)

yeah ive seen this in Nissan Parthfinders aswells as Jeeps. Its a good idea, but yeah good lucky modding an EL to do it.

ive got those mirrors on my FTO, and trust me their nothing special, had the car for about three years now, ive used that feature about 5 times.

its really designed for the japanese, as they have tight spaces everywhere.
