If Ford make available the new stroker crank and rods as over-the-counter spare parts what's involved in making them fit into an earlier (say an EB V8) motor? Do you need to change manifolds or heads? Throttle bodies or injectors? What about camshaft?

Strictly speaking you dont need to do anything except probably notch the block for rod bolt clearance but unless you plan to only use it for HD towing you should really invest in a number of related upgrades to make it really work.

This will entail better flowing heads and intake (aftermarket is better than porting the stockers here), larger mass air meter and throttle body, custom cam, bigger injectors (especially if you have the orange 19lb units), bigger fuel pump and some form of EEC tuning device.
