I am about to ask a question that i am sure has been asked a million times but need to know as next week i have to make a disision . How much will it cost me to put a v8 in my 1992 xf falcon its auto and runs duel fuel and could not run any worse . I tow a trailer to work and have problems getting up hills ok i am towing at least 500 kg to 850kg but its a 4.1 and should at least go up hills a bit better ,even with out the trailer it runs bad and the mecanic that looks after my car sugests to put it on straight gas which i dont want to do so yeh a v8 in an xf i am no mechanic and would need it done from start to finish . I also have drum on brakes on rear and a freind advised a 351 cleavland engine i am prepaired to spend a fair bit but need to know roughly how mutch i would be looking at.Thanks
