If anyone else is interested in doing it to theres here are the instructions on how to go about it.

1st you need to remove that ugly black rocker cover and the crapy gasket most came with the old style cork gasket with the 2 rubber block on either end of the cyclinder head you will need to get e new one but try and get the new big rubber gasket which has the rubber blocks included into the rocker cover gasket these gaskets are the best ones to get they can cost from about $30 up to $55 from your Ford dealership.

2nd you need to get the strongest engine degrease you can get your hands on and a scrubbing brush then apply the degreaser allow to soak for about 10 to 15 mins then scrub the whole rocker cover really good then spray more degreaser again then scrub again then spray again then allow to soak for another 10 to 15 mins then using a high pressure hose nozel wash all the rocker cover really good once done allow to completely dry in the sun or over night.

The Rubber Blocks have been moulded into the rubber gasket which makes this the best gasket you can get.

This is Part 2

1st I put a few coats of the blue on and between each coat I let dry for about 30mins.

Use the whole can of Blue paint.

And here is the finished product on the car.

So what do you guys think of the Ford Blue rocker cover.

Are you going to polish the ribs, or paint them black or somthing?

Nope i'll just keep it the way it is.

I did that on my old EA I had and for some reason it showed white corrision I tried rubbing a oil rag with a finger but after a while it wears of and starts all over again so this time I didn't do it.

If there was a clear engine paint then I would have done it again but then sprayed with a clear coat.

im curious as to how you wood go about painting the ribs black or polishing them? wood u mask off the rest of the rocker cover? i painted mine red not long ago, and its peeling now, some kind of UHT paint! lol

Painting them black would be by hand with a brush.
Polishing them would be with a block.
I used to get White corrosion on mine until i polished them.
Your cover still looks good.
