ok providing nothing else goes wrong with my car ive got some cash to play around with for diff ratios, now what i would like to know is if i change my 3.2 which has me at 1800rpm at 100k what sort of rpm i would be at with different ratios. if ya could tell me anyhitng up to a 4.11 ratio that would be great. its an auto by the way. cheers for any help
cam starts to work efficently at 2500rpm wheel spin starts at 2500rpm in wet, nothing sus or anything.
this is a simple formula for you to work out for yourself.
i'm going to bed so if you want them worked out for you i'll do it tommorw
current 100kmh is 1800. divide by 3.2 then times by whatever diff ratio you want say 4.11 =2300rpm@100
see if i'm right someone will correct if i'm wrong i hope
