Howdy All
Ok, my ef has been running rough now for a couple of weeks, and it's slowly getting worse. I've tested the coil pack and as it was way out of spec, I changed it over. Now I have rock steady spark, still running rough. Changed to NGK v-groove plug, still rough, checked HT leads and they are to spec. Replaced fuel filter, still rough, fuel pump was replaced 10K ago. Changed ISC before all this started and it was idling great.
Ran a KOEO and got 792 (cooling fan relay 2) - relay gound out so fans are always on as for some reason the computer turns the fans off at 15km/h no matter how hot they car is??. Then got 111, everything OK.
Ran Engine on diagnostic and got 411, base idle speed iregularity, duh! and 521 power steer preasure switch. I will check the power steer switch, but could this screw everything up??
I have a feeling my ECU is screwed as with the fans turning off at 15km/h and this running rough.....i dunno......help????
