The other day I deliberately let my xg run out of gas. After filling up, it now lacks power especially higher up the revs. You can feel it lurching, trying to go. Switch back to petrol and its fine. It was fine before I let it run out. Also, how do you adjust the mixer, and what do the 2 screws do on it?
The filters are in the converter but there's no kit for them because its illigal for anyone other than a qualified LPG tech to mess with them. But if your problems in the valves then believe me you don't want anyone but a good LPG tech messing with them!
I had my gas guys clean mine up and dyno tune it... cost just $120 and its runs much sweeter now.
Yeah, fair enough. I had to ask though. So in that case, who can I trust in Melbournes south east. I'll pay what it's worth for someone to do a good job, I just don't know who. Anyone have any suggestions? Taximan?
I'd suggest LPG 1 in Lilydale if thats not too far away from you.
They worked on my system, did a good job and didn't charge like a wounded bull.
