Tico Registered User Join Date: Jul 2006 Posts: 5	S.O.S From Costa Rica I have an 89 Bronco II 2.9. The problem is that every time I put it on first gear to start moving, there is a "counter explosion" that comes out from the air filter box. My car losses power and starts to jerk. It stops and starts to run smooth as I step on the gas and switch gears, (it also happens when I switch between gears from time to time) I also have tried to fine tune it as best as I can, but no matter how hard I try I just can't seem to leave it out right. Please help
