Must be a common problem, I had to change the same ones in mine a few months back.


You know, somebody actually complimented me on my driving today. They left a little note on the windscreen. It said, 'Parking Fine.'So that was nice.

There are another 6 plugs on the inlet side, and one on the back of the block, behind the bell housing, you have to take the engine out to get to that one.

snafu EB2: welsh plugs rusty

Just put down a deposit on a EB2 3/93 Wgn. The prev owner has shown me he changed the wplugs under the exhaust manifold (he put in brass ones). Ok..... But what worries me is what condition are any other ones likely to be in? The same right. So where are the others?

yeh i just pulled an engine out of an EA for a bloke - the plug under the rear port on the inlet side had rusted out. I dropped an engine out of an ED into it because it had a few other engine probs as well (big end bearing, lifters & rear seal).

i think he wants to sell the engine if anyone is interested. would be a good engine to rebuild - and dirt cheap id reckon
