i am just wondering about this brush on underbody and sound deadener. if i paint the metal door skin and the actual removable door skin with 1 coat each will i notice the difference? has any1 used this by its self or only with the brown bread ect.- i would like to use this stuff aswell but its too expensive. or is there a cheaper option? thanks guys

the paint on sound deadener is pretty good stuff, buts its nowhere near as good as the stick on stuff, becuase it weighs more. Shop around you'll be able to get 12-13 square metres of stinger roadkill for around 90 bucks i think? got it from jb hifi about a year ago, cant remember properly.

if your talking about the plastc stuff convering the inner door, you should leave this as it protects the inside doors skin from mosture.

generally if you do the doors properly it will reduce a fair bit of noise, and also when closing the door, it would sound more solid.

also why you doing this for? aftermarket stereo? or just a general reduction in road noise?

im doing it for both reasons. so it looks like ill just paint that plastic bit and the door skins and i should notice a difference. how many sq m do u need to do the 4 doors and maybe the back under carpet in the wagon and in the tailgate. thanks
