Here's a parts place in America that is cheap and ships out to Australia. I can get Wix 51515 (equiv Z9), for US$3.83 each, thats AU$5.25 each. Plus postage. A Z9 costs me $8.40. Will let you know how much they are landed in Oz.

i dont want to really suggest this, but go to a holden spare parts outlet and ask for an AC Delco Z9 eqivalent - i can get them straight over the counter for like $3.30 im not sure what RRP is but its not much.

same for spark plugs i think, and an alternator belt has a list price of about $3.50 i think, but apparently AC Delco dont make them - WTF? a price and a part number but no part to go with it???

just check - normal maintenance intems seem to be pretty well priced.

and you also convince yourself its not holden, its a AC Delco product....well, thats what i tell myself when doing a $3.50 service :s6:

Yeah, AC Delco are good products, but the Wix filter has the bypass valve up near the thread end. When in bypass, the oil does not flow over the filter material and the crud that might be at the bottom of the can. Gotta be better for the bearings. Wix are also imported by Ryco, which is a strange move, it's just I don't know the cost from Ryco for them.

My main comment though, was really about the layout of that site, and the comprehensive catalogue.
