Exclamation speedo, odometer, cruise, eco switch not working AU ser3

as the title said, my speedo is not working AT ALL, my economy and cruise control switches both bring up the relevent wording on the dash but nothing actually happens. also my odometer is not moving at all. i have driven over 250 km in the last few days and nothing has moved. what does the speedo and odometer work on, and does it affect the eco and cruise control.

just to help you rule things out, it has nothing to do with clockspring.

thanks
