First of all I apologise if I have posted this in the wrong forum

I have an EB I Fairmont Ghia and although she is a bit long in the tooth I don't want to get rid of her - we have a lot of history together.

What I want to do is to change the color of the silver insert that circles the car. I have not idea how to do it and would like some ideas if there are any. The other thing I would like to do is get one of those red rocker covers to replace my black one. I would also like to chrome the nuts that hold the rocker cover down. Does anyone know anywhere in NSW (Sydney) that does chroming of small pieces.

use pin striping tape (repco) over the original chrome or use a good quality electrical tape that way you can take it off later on if you wanted
my had red tape over the chrome so i just peeled it off
the chroming check the yellow pages
there is a place called the chrome exchange in arncliffe
or you could go to a fastner supplier to see if they can sell you similar bolts

You might be better off buying a set of ide moulds from a wrecker, painting them any coulour you want.
with the front and rear bumpers, the chrome insert will just pull out.

wtf i thought that wouldn't work. i tried it and it just came of i'm gonna try it again today see what hapens
