subs
ok...when it comes to car audio...i know about a little as possible...i've been trying to find some info on the subs i have...coz no one has ever heard of PPI...but i finally have the info i was looking...(i think) can anyone tell me if they actually are good or not?
PRECISION POWER "300 Watts PPI Subwoofer". This 10-inch component features a 4-layer /Kapton voice coil former, 25 Hz - 250 Hz frequency response, 40 Qts total damping, 87.9 dB sensitivity, 17.83mm peak excursion, and 4-7/8" mounting depth. * 8 Ohm Rated
i got 2 of em in an enclosed box...in approximately 1.5575 cubic foot volume...is that too small...they do have a beautiful crisp deep sound...but high volume is a problem...i really can't push them as much as i'd like to...they sort of make a shaking sound as if it's playing the next note before the previous note has had the chance to finish or something...i dunno..hard to explain...but...can anyone let me know what they think of this set up...and anything i can do i remedy the situation....thanks..
oh..i am running them bridged off a 4x50 watt amp (have an idea but not totally sure what that means...how much power is each speaker getting?)...woot...just found info on the amp too...
