suggestions
Hi all
I have just bought myself an EL Fairmont wagon, and I am about to do some modifications to it.
Firstly, I wish to gain more power
Secondly, I wish to lower it.
Questions: I have contacted Pedders here in sunny Melbourne, and they have a very good lowering "kit" which utilises the original front springs, and retains the suspension travel. The problem is that the total price is near to $700. (this includes resetting the rear springs) Is ther anyone out there that has either experience of the "kit" and can comment on it, or can suggest any other suspension experts to contact re lowering ideas.
The second question is: I have contacted a crowd called Jim Mock Motorsport, and they also have some very good ideas, and say that they can get 125 kw (at the rear wheels) by adding an exhaust system and certain sparkplug type. Again money is an issue. This will cost up to $900. Is there anybody with experience of these people, and/or other suggestions as to who to contact regarding exhaust systems here in Melbourne, that can give similar guarantees ? This Jim Mock crowd guarantee the power gain .
Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated
Mark
