Can't really help you for an installer because I'm in Adelaide, but I would not overlook the Hollandia brand. I priced one up for my wagon and the price was somewhere near $2,800, three days to fit and a complete new hood lining. These are electric glass which slides back or flips up (for ventilation) In fact I think it's the same as the factory units.
There was a place on Taren Point Road that did these sunroofs, can't remember the name (it's been over ten years since I was last in sydney)
Yellow pages is the go.

I'm guessing that price is for the best you can get. I will look in the yellow pages for the supplier. I was just hoping someone could recommend a supplier/installer from their own experience.
Pretty sure you can score the TVS (or now equivalent 'Stratos' I *think*), which is the top of the range electric glass sunroof. Last time I asked, I think they had dropped in price - probably around the ~$2,000 mark - may also be a seasonal thing - ie may get a better price in Winter when business is a lil slow *shrugs shoulders* - I doe no !
I got the Hollandia sunroof in my AU2 XR8. Last time I'll do this!
I have seriously thought about ditching the entire roof and welding in a new one. The noise, the rattles, the hassles. The loss of headroom combined with the bar stool seating position means haircuts like Adviliax's are out of the question (he, he).
Not worth it. Not worth it at all.......

Ahh Pete, you must have slept well as the witty comments and one line backhanders are still flying. Short blokes should't have any trouble with the high seating position though.

????
I've got the factory fitted sunroof in my AUII XR, which (IIRC) is Hollandia and I couldn't be happier! It squeals a little if you let it drag back the liner, but if you push the liner back first then it's 100%.
