Swan tafe perth

Just rang the tafe up the other day cause i heard they do cheap paneling and paint

The teacher Joe said you only pay for materials and a little extra for the school itself (power, tool wear) and no labour charge :-)

The apprentices do the work but the school is not liable for any faulty workmanship if your car fades in certain arears or things like that.

They also wont do rust repair.

So i have to get some of my car rust repaired before i go there and i should be able to save $$$$

Any one else been there? or no someone that has?

Re: Swan tafe perth

hey mate. i havent been there but i have heard about it. the students are fully supervised during their work, which obviously you already know. i reckon it'd be a good investment especially figuring much of the cost for spraying etc. is the labour. do you know if they do panel beating too? need a front spoiler realigned and haven't got the tools. i reckon give them a go. cheers

Re: Swan tafe perth

A bloke @ my work attempted to get his car (old valiant) into a TAFE. In the end the supervisor/admin/head of the dept said no the cars too old. His exact words after were we only do new cars.

Re: Swan tafe perth

No thanks. I still ain't finished the last couple of things with my paint. Still got to try and get motivated to rub it down with some 1200-2000 grit and buff it. For the moment the paints being toughened by our supposed harsh climate
