Any got the oil on how to stop a rattle in my engine. Its definatly seems to be coming from the rocker area. It appears from my manual that they are non ajustable is this right. Ive just changed the oil {penzoil multi-vis20w50) is this too heavy of a oil, is the cam lobes worn. Any help would be appriciated.

dunno..... cheak your oil pick up to your rocker cover?

if its a distinct 'clack' sort of noise its probably a tappet. they're not too tedious to replace (but not particularly cheap if you do all of them - I think Repco wanted about $28 each last time I bought one). The other thing about these engines is that they regularly snap the top half off one of the chain guides. Its probably not terminal but it sure sounds ordinary!
