Lightbulb te50 series III ute dream

what are the chances of fitting a te50 front to a regular au ute? I've noticed the ute bonnets have a ridge in the middle and I assume a new bonnet would be needed too, but would it fit? what about to an xr model?

My dream would be a te50, chopped in half with a jarrah tray at the moment!

One day hopefully...

Re: te50 series III ute dream

You mean like this? (but this is series 2 TE50 front - same principal applies though):

It's on a series 2 XR ute, but could be done to any ute or series 1 AU.

Re: te50 series III ute dream

I was just about to post that very same pic!

xl.are.8, your idea sounds awesome, if you do get it done make sure to post up some pics. I'd love to see it.

Also, if anyone has details on where to get the proper T series mesh grille other than Ford, I'd like to hear them.
