I removed it off my TE50 the day I got it as not only is it ugly but it prevents you seeing your engine or checking things or doing any work.The bracket around the calrenator to support it is also crude and heavy.

I am slightly worried however that the cover may serve some purpose like streamlining airflow behind the radiator or preventing hot air getting to the intake.Anyone know??

It is just there for looks mate, nothing else. I reckon they look great

I think the engine cover loook great it adds character to the engine bay ive seen a few of your bullinten and it seems your not 100% happy with your purchase why did you buy the car in the first place if your not happy with it
