Tie Rod Ends - Help!

Has anyone ever had any trouble with tie rod ends? Mine are stuffed the boots are coming of them. Can they become clunky?

they get a little sloppy when worn...kinda drift all over the road..theyre relatively inexpensive so Id be replacing them and get a wheel alignment :)
