Timing Out

Hey all i i checked the timing on my EL falcon, and the timing mark on the harmonic balancer is about 3 cm left of the metal marker. Does this mean my timing is right out?

thanks

Re: Timing Out

how do you know if the balancer has slipped a bit? All i saw on the balancer was a white mark.

When the car is running the line is to be as close to the metal maker on the block as possible right?

EL I6 btw.

Re: Timing Out

all i just want to know is, if its 2-3 cm before the metal marker does that mean its out? Rich or lean?

So i just have to get the white mark to realigned with the metal marker right?
