I painted the inside of parts of my headlights on my EB black. Looks pretty good but now i was wondering if there is a possibility of removing the plastic on the clear side indicators so i can spray the inside of them. I have already killed one blinker by cutting it painting and hoping i could glue it back. Is there a method where you can heat it up take the clear lens off, paint it then glue it back on? I have some pictures of my old EA in my gallery showing the headlights to give some idea of what im talking about. if anyone has done this please let me know how! thanks!

It wont have the effect that im after, (already tried this) painting it on the outside will still look different to the headlights hence defeating the purpose, so if thats the only option i might keep them clear. With the paint on the inside it gives a deeper, glossier, more proffessional finish...

That looks good and matches your headlight surroundings svo347, for the headlights i used heat proof paint, when i did the indicators on the outside i used the tinting spray pack, (the one with the guy on the front with the chrome wrapping, not sure what its called) it came up too dull so i sprayed clear on top of it, it looked good but didnt come close to matchignthe headlights... what did you use to spray your indicators? What i mean by tinting the inside is not tinting the clear part on the light on the inside, but rather the grey coloured plastic on the bottom and sides just before the clear lense that covers the orange bulb.

I went to a hobby shop & got some tinting spray they use for remote controlled car bodies. Once it was done i sprayed a clear gloss over it inwhich came up even better.
you can get the spray in Gloss & matt finishes.
