Hi,...would anyone know the torque spec's for heads on a 94 2.5 V6 Ford Telstar quadcam and any info on getting cambelt on without to much hassle,i understand they can be abit of a bugger....cheers
A bit of a bugger is an understatement for the inexperienced. Being a quad cam and an east west engine, i would leave the cam belt up to the experts, the belt needs to be changed at 100k.
To obtain the head bolt torque settings give your local Ford workshop a ring and hopefully you find someone helpful
hah...find someone helpful at a ford workshop....fat chance,....got sick of asking....experience..i work on Holdens and Hondas mainly, but a friend has this V6 Telstar i'm helping to fix so thought i'd try this forum for abit of info,....looks like i'm just gonna have to keep pestering these not so friendly ford workshops
