translating code on my computer

im wondering wot the numbers on my cars computer tell me about the vehicle.i know its an EL 6cyl ex cop car with a ss 3.23 diff.but wot do the numbers on the acomputer actually tell me?

Well, I'm betting Sylvania is something to do with the company Sylvania. I know they do a bit of stuff with cars - lights and other stuff.

Check my website, in the technical documents section, you will need to register 1st.
There is a list of different ECU's and catch codes there, however you will need to remove your ecu and look on the plastic cover on the bottom of it, or on the barcode label for the catch code on yours, should be 6DBB 6DBD 6TBB etc..
