I have had my car three months now, and done over 7,000ks in it. All in all, it is a great car, but there is one major trouble with it.
I CAN'T FILL THE BLOODY THING WITH FUEL!!!
Everytime I go to fill up, all I get is, click, click, click!!! I just can't get any fuel into it. I try moving the nozzle around, in and out, but all I get is click, click bloody click!!!
It takes over 5 minutes to fill it up. And it is really shitting me to tears!!
The only way I can get it to fill normally, it to go to a really old petrol station, as their nozzles are not sensitive. But, I want Premium dude, Premium!!
Does anyone else have this problem with their AU's? I am seriously thinking of putting a For Sale sign on it, and buying a Avalon.
On the EL I seem to have trouble at some mobil's ( but not all )
I share your pain, it kills me doing one tank like that ( in fact I usually give up after $10 and go elsewhere ) . . . every tank would be a nightmare :(
I've got a AU, and yes, when i got it, I had the same problem. But now it doesn't do it as often - probably cause i push the nozzle in all the way - as far as it will go. Try that.
Hey, My EA does the same thing... Click Click.. and then the fuel comes gushing out and ends up on the side of the car.... BLOODY ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mate has a AU for a work car. When he got it, the little flap over the filler port was broke off. Have a look and see if that is the problem. He had it replaced, no prob's now.
had a mate who only went to one servo just because of this reason he thought because where he parked to fill up the car was not level (ground fall was away from him) strange theory but it worked, although he had to wait almost every time to get this particular spot and took about as much time to fill up as it would have at any pump. oh well so long as your not in a hurry!
