Hey everyone I need some type of idea of how to wire the central door locking up as I have just bought a wrecked 30th Anniv EA and are taking the parts out of it into my S-Pac.

What coloured wires go where? Where does the main wires running between the two front doors and two back doors run? Are the main connecting wires between all doors one long length of wire or is there other connecters other then at the doors that can be disconnected.

Also how does the central door locking know not to lock when one of the doors are open, is one of the wires connected to interior light?

Any help would be appreciated cheers.

The wires between the doors run under the door sills but there is also also part of the harness that runs under the seats joining the left hand harness with the right hand harness. The wiring diagram is very complex so what colour wire goes where is a big question. However if you have the full harness it should plug together easily.

it could be easier in this case to buy an aftermarket central locking kit and just use that instead. They only cost about $35.
