Tweeters

Guys,

I installing Boston Splits with 3/4 inch tweeters. Now, i know how to install the actual tweeter, but where do i run the wire?? Im kinda ok with the passenger side tweeter (Up through dash "Semi-Via" the glove box area) but where do i run the drivers side??

Do i go somewhere across the steering area, and then up the side, or am i better going up the passenger, and across the dash??

Both tweeters will be hidden by the Dash extention trim. (as if they were factory tweeters)

Any help will be ace!

Take it easy

Chris

How hard is it to remove the dash trim at the bottom of the windshield? I want to mount some tweeters under the grill in the factory position on the dash under the windshield.

1 allen key on each side of the dash then it pulls out towards the seats. Just pull it straight back. its clipped in tight.

Chris,

I just ran new wiring for my tweeters when I installed my amp. The easiest way I found was to take off the top part of the dash as Dan has stated above, then take off the front of the dash (which is about 8 - 10 screws). You can run wires from the tweeters to the centre of the das, then there is a hole, run the wires into the hole and then pull them to the left of the centre vents and then down behind the stereo. It is quite easy when you have the dash apart.

Hope this helps

Stephen
