HI GUYS
HAS ANYONE PUT A UNI-CHIP ON AN XR6?
IF SO WHAT SORT OF IMPROVEMENT DID YOU GET?
I AM THINKING OF THE CAM/UNI-CHIP THING ON MY ED, I HAVE ALREADY GOT THE EXAUST/RUSH POD & A SET OF EL TWIN THERMOS(NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE).
ANY IDEAS ON WHAT SORT OF POWER INCREASE?

I currently have a Chip Torque Chip and Cam ordered for a ED 4.00 non XR6. Based on my cars current output (121KW) rear wheels I have been advised to expect between 130 - 132KW. Its a stage three setup which enables me to stay with a standard Torque Converter. Any further and I would need to go to a 2500 rpm converter. To achieve this output you need to do some custom exhaust mods which work with the chip and Cam.

I have a Unichip on my AU XR6 HP. With HM Headers, 2.5in straight tru exhast, K&N air filter and larger air intake my car produces 138kw at the wheels. Driving through the gears is nice too.

I got the same mods xcept for the chip, did you happen to lose some low down torque?

The car felt more powerful all through the range, if anything it felt like it wanted to spin the wheels very low down out of corners.
