More than likely, i'm pretty sure the unichip can be used on the I6, just as it was for the EL's etc.
Your car will have to spend a day at the tuners with the laptop plugged in on the dyno and tuned to the best of their ability to get more power, driveability & fuel economy. The power may not go up in such a way as a huge kw increase, but more so in the way it delivers power, and the speed with which it delivers that power; much more quickly. You will probably notice more power down low and throughout the rev range, and it can be tuned according to what fuel you use most.
If you're going to add any more mods (eg. cold air intake etc) do them first, as you can get more of a gain with the unichip with mods added beforehand.
