Hey whats the best way to upgrade my car,(91 corsair ghia, 2.4) without spendig to much doh, not any major upgrade just something to give it a little more get up and go. thought of an exhurst but me not sure, what do u guys reckon?
thanks
Fte.
Oh does anybody know the laws in queensland for coloured parkr lights?
Id have a guess in saying that teh parker lights would be illegal, but youd be pretty unlucky to get caught.
Theyre illegal here, but evry 2nd car has em.
As for exhausts, Im not sure that exttractors for these cars are all that common.
There are a few Corsair (Pintara) sites around who would be able to give u a better idea. Maybe do a search for one of em.
A 2.25" cat back would be big enough for the car, and i wouldnt go any bigger that 2.5" even though there are alot of 4cyl with 3"- its just overkill. u will have less low end acceleration with bigger exhausts, and possibly all over the rev range if too big.
Is your car auto? If u want to fiddle u could swap for a manual, or try a shift kit, but i am unsure of how these cars handle that kinda stuff
