Has anybody put a metallic tint on to a ute, when it should be non-metallic. I went into Solartint in Sydney and the guy said that the premium metallic tint was a better quality and had a lifetime warranty, wheras the other didn't and wouldn't look as good. Any references for tint in Sydney?
I have a bA XR8 ute with non metalic and get perfect reception 135klms away. how ever my neighbour has the so called top of the range metal on his BA XR6 ute and he only gets reception up to 60klms. and the other neighbour 4 doors up has a BA RTV ute with no tint and get the same range as I do. My tint is a 3m tint and is cosidered to be one of the best and It does look very nice. And you would never guess that it was not a metal bass tint
