hey just wanna know if anyone on here can give me any info on a v8 conversion for my xp. Just stuff like brakes, suspension, what motor, etc.
Plus if anyone has done this could you tell me how much it ended up costing and how dificult it was to do.

It's pretty straight forward.

There is a publication by Graffiti publications that takes you through the step by step of converting an XP to a V8. As for a motor - go for a 302 windsor, fits nice and snuggly in the engine bay. Parts (both mustang and falcon) are readily available.

Cost will depend on what you can source a majority of your parts for. Do you have space to buy a wrecked windsor powered car and strip parts off that?

Yeah have got plenty of space but is there a certain model that you can swap pretty much everything that i need without to much hassle?
Also do you know where i can find that graffiti publication?

65-66 mustang. but any windsor powered falcon fairlane from the 60's to 71 would be ideal.

As for the publication, I suggest you try and contact the publishers, or try 2nd hand bookshops/Ebay/swap meets. It has a yellow cover with a red XP hardtop on the cover. They used an XW wagon for all the running gear for their XP hardtop v8 conversion.

Not a problem converting to a V8 there are many options out there.

I went with the Castlemain Rod shop engine mount kit, comes with the engineering papaer work. You need to also put cone discs on the front end and a duel master cyclinder. Cost all depends on how far you want to go..
